Workshops
As a means of educating researchers about the practical aspects of incorporating proteomics into their own work, the BCPN hosts a series of educational workshops aimed at all levels of researchers, from students to PIs.
Upcoming workshops
February 21, 2012 Workshop on Quantitative Proteomics and Multiple Reaction Monitoring
Location: UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre, Victoria, BC
This workshop will include the theory of quantitative proteomics and MRM-based protein assays as well as hands-on instruction on assay development and data handling.
Past workshops
October 26-27, 2010 Multiple Reaction Monitoring Workshop
Location: UBC & UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre
This two day workshop will consist of lectures describing the principles of MRM methodologies as well as hands-on instruction on setting up MRM experiments. A webcast is available for off-site participants for day 1 of the workshop. A registration fee is required for day 2 of the workshop, which is limited to 10 participants.
March 1-2, 2010 MALDI Imaging Mass Spectrometry Workshop
UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre
Instructor: Pierre Chaurand, University of Montreal
